Tanya Paleeva presents her first solo photography exhibition entitled, «Around About», at Morfi Gallery in Limassol. The exhibition will open on Friday, 17 March at 5pm and will remain open throughout the weekend, until Sunday, 19 March 2023.

- About the Exhibition:

«I agree with him. My exhibition is dedicated to people, to the beauty of human beings. Through my photographs I would like to declare my love for life. For life, that is here and now. Life, that I sometimes want to stop, or sometimes want to speed up. For life, which is simple, but likes to pretend to be complicated», says the author of the exhibition - Russian photographer, actress of theater and cinema, and director, Tanya Paleeva.

Tanya invites the audience to think about time with her. How it spins around us in the present moment.  Does it rush by quickly, circling around us fast like a giant carousel? Or on the contrary, slowly... as we feel the years pass by. How often do we find ourselves living in the moment? How often do we allow ourselves to get joy from observing ourselves and those around us, and feel the love in that joy? All of the photos were taken on her mobile phone. Ιn different parts of the world.

«I started documenting life in photos when my friends gave me my first iPhone. I felt a bit like peeping in on life, because a huge part of my main profession is observing people—analysing their behavior. For me, photography is a meditation, a journey to myself through the world. Sometimes the camera can see more than the eye and I find that to be a miracle.»

- About Tanya Paleeva:

Tanya is a graduate of the Shchukin Theatre Institute, and has worked as an actress at the Vakhtangov Theatre and the School of Modern Drama in Moscow, Russia. She directed 4 shorts, and acted in films which have screened at various international festivals, including:
